Okay so the results of the show were pretty awesome! I didn't do as well as I did last year, person wise, but I am so proud of Anna! She won first place for Junior Does -Holland Lop- which she got a purple Champion ribbon. The judge said that she is a very nice rabbit. If her head gets a little wider as she matures she will be amazing, but if it stays the same she will be average. I'm so excited for her showing future! I won't be breeding her until after I have shown her for awhile. We also had to take our rabbits out for a promotion booth, and she did so good! She just sat there and let people pet her. A little girl who was there said her favorite animal was a rabbit, and said Anna was her favorite. She asked if she could hold Anna, and I was a little nervous because I didn't want Anna to get scared and freak out. So I said yes, but gave her some tips in case Anna got scared. But she was totally fine!! The little girl was so happy! The dad said it was defiantly the highlight of her day. Which made me so happy, and that much more proud. Also there were some little kids there. Some had to be about one year old or younger, because they still had little baby hands, and didn't qute understand how to pet rabbits. One little kid grabbed her head/crown/ear and pulled her, and she just sat there. I was a little worried because I didn't want it to scare her, but it didn't even phase her! It was like it never happened! She was such a good baby!
I also purchased another Dwarf Hotot! I was walking past the Best Of Breeds to see how the Best Hotot looked; and it was for sale, and it was a doe!!! She was absolutely gorgeous! I got nervous because a lot of people around me were thinking about buying her so I ran to my mom and pulled her to the rabbit and I'm like she's gorgeous, I need her! Botta bing Botta boom! Yay! After I talked to the breeder I got to take her out to look her over, also had her out for a little while on the promotion booth. She is such a good baby! She's 3 years old, but poses instantly as she is set on the table. She's super sweet, and friendly. Also really good at being carried, and petted. Defiantly one of the best purchases I have made so far for the future of my herd. I'd like to show her at least once before I breed her. I can't wait to see how she does on the table, and the babies she will have when I breed her to Oliver!! I named her DigiRose. I wanted her name to do something with that day, because it was such an amazing day for me. Also the shoes I wanted to wear to the concert I went to that night, but they didn't have in stock, were Vans DigiRose. I thought it was cute. I am just going to call her Rose for short, also other people may not understand. Rose won B.O.B at State Fair, and also has 1 ARBA Leg. I'm not sure if she has been shown otherwise, or how she did. I'm sure she did great tho! Anyway I have to get everything ready for school now... Yippie *She says sarcastically* so bye for now!
